panamerican trophy
The PanAm Trophy is an endurance race that brings man and machine to their limits in one of the toughest and most beautiful environment on the Planet. Most of the Indigenous Populations scattered in several countries crossed by the original Panamerican Highway are in danger of disappearing forever. Their 'way of life' is constantly threatened by a modern and rapidly changing world. A world which seems to bend day after day to the power of greedy people. The scope of the PanAm Trophy is not only the competition between the participating Teams whose final aim is to win the race and the prize, but and especially to give 'global exposure' to the sensitive issues that affect the local Populations and the humanitarian and ecological disasters taking place right now in the 21st century in the American continent. The PanAm Trophy Organizers will give part of the profit generated by the Race and all related Products and Merchandise to a humanitarian project of their choice. The final prize of USS 1 Million will be split 50/50 between the winning Team and a humanitarian project of their choice. The PanAm Trophy is open to everyone.
