PANAM TROPHY GLOBAL CHALLENGE

The Panam Trophy Global Challenge is an international motor race that takes place every year in the Americas. The Panam Trophy runs through countries linked by the panamerican highway. the next edition at the end of september 2011, will start in Panama City (Republic of Panama) and finish in Hollywood California (USA) for a total lenght of 10000km/6214mi. The most difficult motor race in the world brings man and machine to their limits in one of the thoughest environment and most spectacular locations on the planet. Most of the Indigenous Populations scattered in several countries crossed by the original Panamerican Highway are in danger of disappearing forever. Their 'way of life' is constantly threatened by a modern and rapidly changing world. The scope of the PanAm Trophy is not only the competition between the participating Teams whose final aim is to win the race and the 1million dollars prize, but and especially to give 'global exposure' to the sensitive issues that affect the local Populations and the humanitarian and ecological disasters taking place right now in the 21st century in the American continent

PanAm Trophy supports COOL EARTH, a UK based international charity that is super-charging everyone's efforts to halt climate change. By donating funds you give them the tools to protect the world's most endangered pieces of rainforest
